Upon discovering that the 12th September is National Video Games Day (in America), we thought it would be the perfect excuse to pull the retro games machine out of the cupboard and encourage some friendly competition!
After the work day ended, we ordered some pizza, got some drinks out and settled down on the sofa in the office and loaded the first of many games of the evening - 'Streets of Rage', in which both Andrew and Robin continually, but unintentionally, took each other out instead of the baddies.
Matthew enjoyed reliving his teen years as he played 'Track and Field' and proved to us all that he hasn't lost his skills!
Jenny and Kieran then battled one another in a game of 'Metal Slug' in which Jenny admitted that she had no idea what she was doing but came out top and somehow even got a high score!
It was a great evening and we look forward to having some more fun both in, and out, of the office again very soon!
