The bespoke system developed by Empresa last year for Mid Bedfordshire Vehicle Restoration, brought many benefits to the workflow processes and productivity of the business but since then, some amendments have been identified to enhance the MBVR system even further. Due to our long term relationship with MBVR and committment to their business needs, MBVR chose to work with us again to make these changes.
- Jobs section– improve the different types are shown. Refine how the Group, Component & Part titles, Quantity & Part Numbers are shown
- Images – To be able to shuffle the parts images around to show them in the correct order when viewed by Customers.
- Parts section – Create parts given to us by Customers to replace items on the cars on to the system without going through the quotes system.
- Signature - Add a tag to each process with the user initials showing the person who either created it or amended it.
- Sundries section – change the way that sundries are allocated to the jobs
- Reports – produce more reports and make some of them printable to more easily send to clients
The work involved in continuous refinement of the system has been based on customer feedback and on the changing needs and new ideas that have developed over time.
