A new website and bespoke restoration tracking system was developed for our client Mid Beds Vehicle Restoration. The main purpose of their business is to provide general servicing to full mechanical vehicle rebuilds.
Our expertise in developing bespoke products enabled us to develop a system to help MBVR better manage their wide variety of classic car restoration work and servicing processes. They pride themselves in restoring vintage cars that have a sentimental value to their customer, such as resurrecting the beauty back into a rusty Datsun 240Z, to restoring a Peugeot 205 GTI that may have seen better days. As you can imagine rebuilding a vehicle like this can be a lengthy and complex process.
The ability to manage an inventory from the stripping down to the rebuild and
tracking of their processes at a granular level was key to the customer. The system is able to track the whole process from quotations, time-sheets and parts ordering throughout the rebuild and the ability to upload images of the projects as they progress. With the website and system seamlessly integrating they are able to provide their customers the platform to be able to see a detailed representation of how their car is progressing at any point in time.
Building a bespoke system involves finding out how a business works, and developing something to fit exactly around the working processes. We take pride in ensuring that we consider the longer term so that the system is built to last but can also be adapted in the future as a business grows.
