Meet The Buyer, is a web-based booking application developed for the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce which gives their members the ability to peruse, reserve and pre-book specific 10 minute appointments with buyers at the annual, all-day Meet the Buyer event in Norwich. The event entices over 200 suppliers to gather and join the Norfolk Chamber to pitch to key buyers of the region. The system seamlessly links through to the Chamber’s payment processing system. The Empresa team developed the system with flexibility in mind, providing the ability for the Chamber to easily add new buyers and new slots on the day of the event, as well as manage any last-minute changes, cancellations and “no-shows” by editing the system online thus allowing the day to still run smoothly for the buyers and suppliers.
