Established in 1983, ROMIL Ltd started the manufacture of high quality solvents. Having won the prestigious Queen's Award for Export in 1987, the company appointed international distributors in order to facilitate the supply of their high quality solvents overseas. Now, with more than 30 years' experience in the field, ROMIL are at the forefront of companies in its field, employing around 35 people at its headquarters in Cambridge.
Built completely from scratch, the bespoke website provides the client with an entirely customisable website, allowing them to amend the content and imagery. The custom website also provides their web administrators the ability to upload their product specifications, which are then parsed by a custom search indexer, ensuring that users can find exactly what they need. The site had to work on all browsers, tablets and mobile devices, as well as provide numerous sticky features to the users of the website. Users can register and log-on to utilise these sticky features such as downloading Safety Data Sheets, Product Certificates and adding products to the favourite lists.
